I flew CO BC 3 years ago and AF NEV (BC) earlier this year. While CO does have more width, I'd say the AF seats are more comfortable. Width wasn't an issue but I'm an average height/built male.

AF IFE selection is said to be lacking (at least for english V) and not AVOD but CO isn't that great. AF screens are larger.

As for food, CO gives you much bigger portions (back in '04 anyway). AF just fills you and the food is pretty decent. Wines on AF are also much better.

No trouble with my connection in CDG but I only had hand luggage (not going to trust transfer if I can help it on my MAN-MEL trip(s) next year).
