Yeah I've looked at going the other direction (through BKK/SIN instead of FRA) but it does add at least one day each direction which is usually time I don't have to spare. Based in DEN is much easier to catch the DEN-FRA direct LH flight which has good connection times to the India flights. If I go on UA metal I end up going through IAD with another connection which would be OK if they could get me all the way to India.
