I endorse this opinion, and further I would recommend the following routing.

BA for LON-SIN
CX for SIN-HKG-SFO
BA for SFO-LON

The benefits of this routing include:

1. Shorter flight times;
2. Better overall service; and
3. Manageable jet-lag
