Thanks for the tips. I'm actually close to thirty years old now (my log in name was created many years ago) so I should be able to rent a car with ease. My only concern is the potential of getting in an accident because of the snow that Fairbanks could receive while I'm there. None the less, I'll look into rental cars as well.
