Does Air France do Miles For Upgrade. Got the MAN-MEL tickets, going via Hong Kong and want to upgrade to First Class using miles, is this possible?

Secondly, can I do the MAN-CDG leg at any time before my CDG-MEL flight or does it need to be on the same day, has anyone tried it and do they charge for it, same question for a stop in Hong Kong.

Lastly, if I was to cahnge the date, as it is allowed by the fare rules, will I need to pay for the fare difference e.g being that my 980 fare increases to 4000 for a simple date change.
