Note that this 72 hours is only very rough. In this respect it is quite different from the OLCI timing which is to the minute (although of course it varies between T-25, T-24 and T-23).

For example, a late afternoon flight will open up three days in advance, but in my experience it is more likely to be rather earlier in the day than T-72.
