Unfortunately, every business seat got sold, and everyone showed up. So it was me in back for 9 hours.
Actually not all that horrible (as I'm a reletive newbie and am used to riding "cattle class"). At least it had VOD.
And I earned a lot of brownie points from my parents for letting them sit up front.
Waiting in the Qantas Club in MEL international terminal for a short jaunt to SYD (I picked riding on a 747 to help make up some lost time in comfort--though I had a little trouble convincing the AA international awards CS rep to check down her list of QF flights for the day as there really are two QF flights with the same departure time every day--one from domestic and one from international).
Thanks for the help and the positive waves sent my direction.
Take care,
Steve
