I was happy to have the Delta Robot watching over me last week. All 3 outbound flights HSV-SBA and the first 2 return flights last Wednesday had gone right on time. Of course I ended up playing "ASA lotto" in Atlanta. The 6:24 PM flight to HSV was delayed due to maintenance issues, and the departure time kept sliding.
The gate was right next to the Concourse C CRC, so I finally ducked in there for a while. The agents at the CRC told me the 8:30 flight (mainline, last of the night to HSV) was fully booked. But when I got on-line and checked my itinerary, the Delta Robot had me confirmed on it. ^
Happily, ASA got it together and got us going a bit before 8:00 PM, though not without the obligatory gate change. I was better off than the guy across the aisle from me. He was originally booked on the 8:30 flight, and paid $50 to move up to the earlier flight. That saved him all of about half an hour....
Anyway, kudos to the D.R. for watching out for me!
