I think this might just be Emma H. Last time I saw them accompany someone from the CR (no idea who he was, certainly not a film star!) the SS lady simply walked him to the plane and chatted with the guy while they stood in the queue with the rest of us on the bridge. Personally I couldn't see the point of the SS escort if it didn't get him past the rest of us but better than the Liz approach I guess.
