This is a good start, but I'm talking more personalized than this - 30 minutes before landing (or whatever appropriate time, a message pops up on the screen for seat 8A alerting Mr. Jones to his connection information:

CONNECTION INFORMATION

Mr. Jon Jones

Air Canada Flights 441 - Toronto to Vancouver

Departs: 4:30
Boards: 4:00pm, Gate 161

Like I said, if the pax is watching something, perhaps this could go by on a ticker at the bottom of the screen.

Don't exactly expect to see this, but it would be a nice touch.
