They are really a good deal for shorter distances Monday-Thursday. I know $99 to travel cost to coast is cheap but I would never subject myself to something like that. And with Southwest out there I don't know why anyone would.
Southwest is rarely less than about $150 transcontinental, and could be a lot more depending on your endpoints.
