Yet, as you can see, there are frequent flyers who are somehow passionate about being able to see "whatever they want" on the overhead screens. They seem completely unsympathetic to the rather modest needs/desires of parents (and others who would prefer less edgier fare). Even more shocking, though, was the statement by Delta's inflight manager that they are consciously moving to edgier overhead fare, specifically "boasting" of his airline's decision to show the very adult oriented "Georgia Rule."

If common sense does not prevail, I can assure everyone that the parents of America will force Congress to intervene. I doubt there are more than a handful of elected officials who would support Delta's "right" to show "Georgia Rule" on the overheads. And in their zeal to stomp out such "filth," I also suspect that Congress might try to overreach -- like that stupid legislation to establish kid-free zones. It sure seems like self-regulation and common sense would benefit everyone.
