IFE or PVD content is a completely separate issue IMO. Due to their individual nature, I see nothing wrong with showing unedited R-rated movies for those who wish to watch them. I don't see that as any different than watching an R-rated movie on my laptop in-flight.

While I stated that the seat purchased by a 6 year old and an adult both come with the same amount of opinion, I can understand the airlines trying to cater more to the adult business traveller, since they're the VAST majority of the airline income.
