How does mt Travel Agent book fare on ITA ?

I just ended up paying $80 extra for my European flight because FLIGHT CENTRE could not book the cheaper flight I found on ITA,

They never heard of ITA !

It was one segment UAL and 3 on Lufthansa so it would not work on either of their websites,

Is there a How To for Travel Agents on booking these flights ?

Or do I need to find a better agent ?

I am just south of LAX
