I just filed for a refund of a $3000 J class ticket and the LAN phone agent told me refunds now take 30 days. This is much akin to what I have seen Chilean banks do with wires. US bankers tell me that Chile is a "slow" country for wires. Wires that are credited the same or next day to and from the US to and from other countries take 3 days when Chile is involved.
