Hello

I'm travelling around the states in a few weeks time for 2 months, and will be looking to rent a car at various places. However, as I'm not 25+ (I'm 24) my options on renting one are limited.

I know there are handful of companies which rent to under under 25s, but the cost is a $25 a DAY surcharge, and when you're renting it for the week, that's a lot of money...

Does any one know of any good car rentals in the America that rent to unders 25s, and don't have such an expensive surcharge for people like me?

I've also applied for AMEX Platinum Charge Card, which should be coming down soon (I know you can get special car rentals deals with this card).
