Platform 9 3/4 (as it's the platforms that are referred to here, not the tracks) is at King's Cross. Railtrack have helpfully placed a luggage trolley halfway through the wall between the mainline and suburban stations to celebrate this very fact.

However, there is a 'real' platform 9a and 9b, where my train arrives every morning, so I always say my train goes to Platform 9 3/4.

However, as fast as FCC's class 365s are for outer-suburban trains (45 miles in 28 minutes is a good commute!), they are not the Hogwarts Express...
