Ok, so let's say I use $200 in type B VDB travel credits to purchase a refundable res for $335 on UA metal. Can I exchange it for 2 reservations of $144 each involving USair segments? How would the difference be handled? Could I go ahead and make a 3rd rez and pay a little more? How would I do this?

The reason I ask is I am requalifying by segments once again, and I am needing about 15 segments due a few trip cancellations. I found a fare out of ORD that has UA and US metal for $23 per segment, which is great! I have to book 2 roundtrips involving 6 segments each, plus my MCO-IAD-ORD to get there and ORD-IAD-MCO back, which should give me 101 segments this year. So this is pretty important and I am trying to keep the effect on my wallet as minimal as possible.
