The crew on yesterday's BA662 didn't say it. They finally didn't say it. At last. At long long last. ^^^

I've been waiting for this moment for years and years. And finally it happened. ^^^

After we landed at LCA, the parting annoucements was:

"If you need any a further assistance, then please contact one of our ground staff, or any uniformed airport staff."

I was so excited. Not a mention of our One World Alliance partners. No instructions to hunt down a member of RJ's ground staff and ask them why my armrest fell off, or to quiz the MA man about where the nearest toilets are.

I personally congratulated the CSD, and requested a comments form, which will be sent in on my return. I love this crew. I love them.

Is this part of a new common sense policy? Or (finally) some initiative shown by the crewmember in question?
