Ok... I'm Korean American, living in the states for the last 13 years or so. And I've never felt that I was treated without the utmost courtesy even when flying NH Y. True, I was never double oped-up from Y to F, but you get the point... So, I think saying Japan is only great if one's English speaking Caucasian is off a bit.

That being said, I never speak Japanese at the airport
