As posted elsewhere, I did JFK-LAX in J on a three class, and SFO-JFK on a 2 class with the new seats last week...so nice and easy to do a comparison.

Wasnt actually that impressed with the new ones to be honest.
Found them very claustrophobic.
Getting out to go to the bathroom with no disturbance was a nightmare if the aisle person even had so much as their legrest extended- let alone asleep.
Felt like i was in a high chair as was much higher than the one next to me.
Privacy screen was basically useless.

The bed mode, although better for sleeping, is more ski slope angle, and not a fan of having my feet and lower legs cocooned under the seat in front.Add that to the problem mentioned above with getting out without disturbing someone, and its not looking good.

Can honestly say I preferred the J on the 3 class for the extra space and no feeling claustrophobia alone.

Bit of a wasted opportunity and a disappointment I feel...could have done it a lot better. BA's new club world (which I fly a lot) may have its faults, but it is still another league compared to this.

Shame as I was expecting it to be good.
