Just today I booked a trip to Barcelona for July 2008 on CO using the Marriott Travel package which gave me 100K CO miles as well as 7 nights in a CAT 1-5 Hotel for 215,000. It took less than a week for my miles to post to CO OnePass. I understand you can book reward travel 330 days in advance and depending on the time of year you plan to travel, such as summer, which is high season for vacation travel to Europe, then it I don't think it is too early to start planning for next summer.
