I would definitely get a comment put in the reservation that you want an upgrade, but being Silver, you probably won't get upgraded I'm guessing. You could always call the hotel directly and ask if they will allow you to pay a fee to upgrade. Try to talk to the GM or Reservations Mgr.

30,000 pts is a lot for one night only - maybe you are better off paying for the 1 night in a Exec room?
