Shark Valley also has at least 2 deer, or at least they looked like deer, might have been a related type animal). Saw them munching on some grass just off the trail. No gurantee that one of the big gators hasn't had them for a snack yet but....

If you do go, go early. The parking lot seems large but last time I was there, people were parking out by the main road and walking in because there was no parking left in the lot. Although at this time of the year that might not be a problem.

Also, if you like to hike, you can hike around the entire thing instead of renting a bike, but just make sure to dress properly and take enough water.
