Are there more restrictions on a promo fare (vs any other fare)? Are promo fares the first to get bumped if a flight is overbooked?
I've used promo fares, and never had any problems. If you're using a promo fare, you can't use a PK (dollar off) cert if you're booking online. Others have said they've had luck by calling in and getting it applied. If you're using a SWU, you might want to check and see if the promo fare is applicable when using one.
