Okay, so they don't want empty bottles.
But, if you take that 1 qt plastic baggie that they REQUIRE you to have, empty it and fill with water, you have the same thing.
Not very easy to drink out of, but still the same.
Of course, if the empty bottle was in your POCKET, the x-ray machine would not see it and away you go.
Lunacy, sheer lunacy.
