But don't the EI flights depart from the domestic section at T1? I thought you couldn't FCC over to that section; that you had to go through immigration at Heathrow and then walk landside over to the UK/Ireland section.

Last time that's what I did, mainly because the FCC had crazy lines and given that we had fastrack for immigration, it felt faster/more empowering to go landside.

But I get turned around at Heathrow anyways
