Perhaps I should clarify my question...

Notwithstanding the aesthetics of the thermal paper vs. quasi-cardboard, is there any reason related to actual flight ops or MP program for one to get a UA printed BP vs. just using the one printed using OLCI?

Put another way, does the piece of paper one prints out at home have all the legitimacy of a UA printed BP for whatever reasons one may want a BP stub?
