The problem is that I have a number of non-BA Oneworld flights in the near future that will get me lots of points, but not to silver until I take the required four qualifying BA flights.

Here are current planned trips in chronological order:

(1) In October, a complex Asian Oneworld business itinerary that get me 550 points.

(2) Possibility of a LHR-DEL r/t in November in BA WT+ netting me 60 pts, but that one is still 50-50.

(3) In December/January, LHR-BOM r/t on BA Club World, getting me 240 pts.

So the conundrum is that if the November trip happens, come late January and I will achieve silver with 850 pts, of which more than half will vanish when that happens. I have a decent chance of going for gold (given the lower Europe-specific target) so that's would be quite a pity.

Options?
I think the OP wants to get silver without wasting any (or as few as possible) TPs so they can try for gold. So........Why not, leave off the EC number on number 1 do the other flights i.e. 2 & 3and then retrospectively claim for the flights in option 1 selectively so that you don't waste any points.

I may be missing something very obvious here please let me know if this is the case.
