The seat map is NOT a reliable indicator. People may not have seats and elites middle seat blocking makes it appear seats are taken that are not.
And also if you are not an elite then all economy plus seats will show as taken even if they are not. Seat maps show you what seats you can get assigned - they don't show you the load.
