In fact, this is one of the main reasons we won't be returning until the 2010 winter olympics. Dicey conditions + poor exchange rate + high room rates + higher airfares (post 9/11 one could fly SFO-YVR-SFO for $140 all-in) = reduced occupancy levels. I would expect to see quite a few promos this year.
