I have never used Saline. I use a multipurpose for storage of my contacts since I believe that is easier and always recommended by my eyecare professionals. Multipurpose solution does come in acceptable bottles, but as others have said...Saline is exempt from the liquids ban.

Even before the allowance of the kippie bag I brought multiporpose solution through the checkpoint in AVL and CLT. I just said it is a medical necessity.
