Not sure how it works in the USA, but I often find that if I phone UA SYD direct and ask for an It'l fare it is WAY under what ual.com says on the same days.sectors. I now book anything direct with UA phone agent, as apart from price factor, they allow all sectors to be upgraded at TIME of booking with SWU, and not sure if I can do that fast on web, and choose seats etc, and get on PA1 w/l if no NC/NF available immediately. Saves a LOT of time.
