New Uniforms on Board 9W (Jet Airways India)

Just flew a few domestic sectors on 9w after flying on LH/LX, and found that the domestic crews (I don't fly the international sectors unless I can use an upgrade, and that is now out the window, with the crazy coupon requirements + the low mileage-earning fares in Y) have also now changed over to the ones issued to the international crews.

I had only seen the international crews with their full outer garb (at BOM, while boarding OS/LH flights), so this was the first chance I had to inspect their actual in-flight uniform.

They seem very nice, and for the female FA's only the outer overcoats are the bright yellow (easily stained/dirtied in Indian conditions) and they have a nice set of black/black long-sleeved blouses and pants with embroidered sleeves.

The sleeves appear to be too long to be comfortable for them, but overall they look good, but very dull, considering Kingfisher's uniform (wow, passed some at HYD today...very tempting ...but still no IT flights tried yet!)

The male FA's outer coats have a very modern Indian look to them, and look really smart, but those new ties are just horrendous - I think I am going to write to 9w to consider changing them...very bland as well....
