As much as I hate using airport codes to refer to their respective cities, I'm doing so in this case because it clears up a lot of confusion (i.e. I have no intentions of going to PWM).

That having been said, I'm planning on spending the bulk of October (for my birthday!) in Oregon and would be down to do a DO.

It will probably involve Japanese food and Hollywood. Even if jpdx and essexjay are my only guests, I will consider it a success. But, others are welcome as well (of course).

I'm going to suggest 10-20 as a possible date.
