IT would have taken about 2 seconds to drink the remains in the water bottle. It would have taken a lot longer for me to turn around and re go thru security and xray....

If the bottle went thru xray in my bag and I was willing to drink the remains I don't know why they would not let me. Seems it was (another) random rule ny TSA.
