I take it 2B was not available when you booked your flight. Since the last row of first, seat C is the FAM seat, that seat is not very secure. Non-757 narrow body planes don't give you many seat choices if you want a non-bulkhead aisle. There are only 2 or 4 seats that meet your criteria (I like the bulkhead, so there are alwauys only 2 that meet mine), and one is the FAM seat. There is not much that can be done other than take your chances if the only non-bulkhead aisle seat is the FAM seat when you book. Either take your chances, find a seat in coach you like or book another flight. I (like you) often have to book a flight that is not the cheapest or with the best schedule in order to get an acceptable seat. Unfortunately, there are constraints caused by flying narrow bodies and having FAMs.
