Note: the moderator heavy-handedly removed my post
Earlier this afternoon I posted in this thread using the word "twit" in describing a front desk clerk at the South Portland Maine Sheraton concerning not reading notes made by another staff member in the portfolio, ignoring profile information and certainly ignoring the seemingly worthless, "what can we do to make your stay better" memos.
The moderator of this forum decided that calling an unidentified desk clerk a twit was a personal attack and is in their view the TOS violation. Said moderator has not responded to my PM stating that there seems to be no TOS violation.
What I find very surprising is that there are three personal attacks in this thread: "Kip Hawley is an idiot and so is Glenn Tilton" still posted above that have not been removed..
Do you think using "twit" to describe an unnamed individual is a personal attack? Should the post have been deleted? Personally, I do not find the Kip Hawley reference offensive. I have no knowledge of Glenn Tilton's history.
Perhaps the moderator would like to repost my post so that the forum can decide. Sorry to hijack the thread but I dislike heavy-handed arbitraryness.
