In Frankfurt, the regularly scheduled (i.e., every xx minutes) shuttles don't have fees that I've ever run into. Someone correct me if they know an exception.
For clarification, was this a regularly scheduled or a call-and-request shuttle? The call-and-request variety in Europe are often with a charge.
