I would imagine your guess is as good as mine. I'm hoping to pick up something in Italy for my assistants in Japan - something individually wrapped, not too big, nicely packaged/appealing that can get shared around. Ideally, it should be something not readily available in Japan. The more expensive the gift seems, the more likely it could be refused. My aim is to show appreciation but not to embarrass whoever is assigned to help me.
Getting things in Japan for the people assisting me in Italy & London on the return trip will be a doddle.
