Hey guys, I am an American who is currently in London for work and wanted to take a trip to Rome or Florence for a weekend with a few co workers. I have been looking at airfares and found some (i think) decent prices (in the range of £100-£150 round trip).

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about getting a cheap flight, where to stay cheap (hostels, etc) and what to see/do. We are all around 21-23 in age so we definitely want to go out to a club/bar at night and would like to do some sightseeing during the day. We get out of work at 5 or 6 PM on Fridays and we werent sure if it would be better to fly out on Friday night, and stay 2 nights at a hostel, or if it would be better to just fly out early on Saturday (but we would have to worry about transportation to the airports, etc). We would come home Sunday afternoon/night and try to get some more sightseeing done Sunday if possible.

Any suggestions would definitely be helpful - where do you think is better for us, and where should we go and what should we do? thanks in advance
