uncertaintraveler is advocating exactly that position, and I disagree.

I have no issue with anyone flying on any ticket, award or otherwise, checking in earlier than me and therefore getting a better line position. I object to giving a non-revenue passenger, again award or otherwise, preferential boarding treatment over a revenue passenger.
