that's exactly what i was getting at. i have a understanding of the "age" of a car and the "age" of a house and the variables and nuances that go into each. this thread's purposes was to learn about the variables and nuances that go into the aging of an airplane. cars are merely a point of comparison, regardless of how similar or unsimilar they are.
