There is a dedicated security checkpoint for non-Schengen transfers/transits half way down the B pier. But it's where the Jet 777s land, and they process everybody as a transit passenger, so if you get there in the morning, there will be a godawful queue. If this is the case, then walk to the arrivals end of the B pier, and there is another exit to the departures area that deposits you right by the duty free shop before the main security screening area.
