Okay, I think I know the answer to this, but...
My wife is 40 TPs away from Silver. If we take an I Class return LGW-AMS Friday to Sunday, she will earn 40+40. Presumably, these will all be wiped come Tuesday or so when the status updates. Will she get the 40 from the return leg re-credited? If so, is this automatic, or does it take a telephone call/email/letter?
In my case (based in FRA), it took a phone call to get the 2nd 40 back. Interestingly, they did not quite get it right initially (statement showed CRE DIT 0) but just before I called again, apparently someone noticed and they credited the 40. There are reports on here, though, indicating that all of this sometimes happens automatically.
