Speaking of the single DL flight, anyone know what's up with that this winter? Normally, it's inbound from SLC around midnight for a 1am departure. The winter schedule now shows same departure, but a 2:00pm arrival. Are they really parking a 757 in ANC for 11 hours?
The DL aircraft gets routed SLC-ANC-LAX-ANC-SLC three or four days a week.

And CO has become my carrier of choice when my travels are terminating in SEA. As you said, they are almost always considerably cheaper and the inflight product includes free food and movies.
