Looks like your membership year ended on 31 August 2007? This means you need to gain either 25,000 or 50,000 miles within the immediate 12 months before the anniversary date of your membership. Even if you earned 35,000 miles during the month of August, your total towards status will be reset to zero on 1 September. The miles themselves are not wasted (in terms of free flights etc), but they are gone in terms of status.

Some airlines allow you to qualify for membership status over a two year period, LH being one of them, and I think TG as well. Other majors such as AA, BA, QF are all based on one year, from your anniversary date.

Your two figures 22898 for silver and 47898 are consistent with this approach, I take it you have flown one or more flights with total mileage of 2102 since 1 Spetember 2007?

Hi
I just took a segment on UA , thats where the 2102 came from
I think there is a mistake though, because i joined Krisflyer in APR 2007 and did all my flight segments in Aug 2007 , so i don't know why they would end my membership year. I already sent an email to Krisflyer , i am waiting to see what their response is.

thanks to everyone for their prompt responses
