Recently I had a FA reluctantly give me a Skykit because of IFE problem. She even wrote something on it that saying that I had insisted on the kit. The FA made so made so many mistakes during the flight like replacing one movie in the middle of it's showing. Also the safety demo sound was so garbled that it could not be understood. I think I was the only person that got one as most people have never heard of it.

I enclosed the Skykit with a letter describing about 6 problems with her service. The FA even did not fill out the form properly as she left out the file number and plane type and I pointed this out in the letter. I got a nice personalized reply letter in addition to the travel cert.

I first found out on a full intl F flight where my seat's the IFE was broken. There were no non-revs on board to trade seats with and the purser apologized and gave me the form.

Most FAs seem happy to give you a Skykit as they realize that the IFE and seats are not well maintained. One of my Skykit reply letters stated that there is a program now to check out the seats and IFE more often. It will take awhile to see if this has good results, I hope so.
