Splitting records and getting new PNRs
I have waitlisted 3 of us for upgrades. According to people on the UA forum I was advised that as I have 3 WL on 1 PNR if only 1 upgrade is available they will not apply it and of course that makes sense. I was advised to split the 1 PNR into 3.

Has anybody split their records? I'm a little nervous as UA seems to do strange things with these records. I have a stopover that I don't want to lose. Should I just keep everything as it is and pretty much presume that I will most likely not get us upgraded.
