After working on this another day and realizing that my destination (DRO) has limited seats on CRJs out of SLC and no other airline in the ST to serve it I decided to finish the process. I remembered that I had enough miles in NW WP account to purchase ticket, so I used Skymiles at DL for one and WP at NW for the other. Funny thing is they were "Saver" fares, DL would allow a stop-over in SEA on the way back but NW said no Stop-overs on award tickets AND NW charged 25K more miles than DL for the same tix. (NW HNL-SEA, DL SEA-SLC, DL SLC-DRO and back the same way) both were "saver" tickets and both in first class both the exact same flights, but one purchased thru DL and one through NW and NW was 25K more miles. I'm SE on both airlines and purchsed both tickets thru my accounts. Go Figure???.
